  1. Nobody has told my cadre friends at Fort Benning that yelling is verboten...it sounds like more Marine Corps bullshit to me.

  2. "never been intended to be for any other reason"?

In the USMC, I  know it was also to help bearing.

  3. Absolutly not. The reason they yell is so everyone can hear what is going on. It has never been intended to be for any other reason. If someone messes up then they yell so the other recruits can learn from there mistake. It's a form of teaching inorder to capture the attentin of everyone and ensure a successful communication channel. That way info already covered isn't repeated time and time again.

  4. What?  I doubt it.

  5. Not true they might have staged it for the cameras but i can assure you they still yell even more at recruits that tell them they aren't suppose to yell at them LOL

  6. Hey i wouldnt be surprised its the army not like they do much any ways..... Hiring all private contractors to do their jobs bunch of lazy.......

  7. i would have to agree with ssg over there. iraqi and afghanistan the enemy? try the media!

yelling is in fact the way to capture someones attention, and put out instructions in a clear and concise manner. it is also used as a safety precaution. for example on firing ranges we are taught to remain calm when we hear yelling and not to panic

  8. I'm pretty sure that's not true.

  9. Absolutely not. Youtube is full of s**t, everyone knows that.

  10. Hey d**k!!!!!

Anyone who believes what they see on youtube........is just that........
