  1. No if you are fearless you are not human, take mr. parashoo for example, he's afraid of his own feelings that why he pretends he is such a tough guy to cover up all the guilt and shame he has and probably the embarassment of the fact that he wets himself on a daily basis then crys like a little school girl. I don't know know what he considers himself to be but it is definately not anything you or anyone else should reduce themselves to. He is definately not human by any  means, don't let that happen to you. You will become more brave as you get older and have more experience, you don't have to kill people and lose your heart to become brave.

  2. There is an old saying, that goes something like this:  There are bold soldiers, and there are old soldiers, there are very few old, bold soldiers.

The Army teaches teamwork, each person in the team has their duty, and relies on the other members of that team to fulfill their duty.  It is not about bold individuals facing down fear, but a team accomplishing a mission.  Fear is neither good or bad.  If you have the training, and know what to do, fear can work for you, keep you alert.

  3. Absolutely! You will no longer be a cowardice civilian with the herd mentality. I was chatting with some civilians about the Canadian bus story where the man was killed and everyone ran off. I told them that if a bunch of Soldiers were on that bus, that guy would have gotten that knife shoved up his ***!

Stacy, you are joke to me. You are funny, however, trying to justify having the herd mentality. Go and attend to your scary friends, while me and the brave ones deal with these terrorists and those you would run away from.

  4. No, but the Marines are said to make their men fearless.

The Army training is good though, you will go through a lot in a short period of time....making your viewpoints on life totally different!

  5. If you ever meet a fearless solider, let me know. We are all scared of something, war, being shot at, death, losing our spouses to the arms of Jodie during deployment, or whatever else scares you. The only reason we seem bold and fearless, is because we are taught that Duty comes first, and you have to do what you have to do...no matter what.

If I'm in a firefight with an enemy, and my battle buddy gets his leg blown off...i'm going to have to save him. I am PETRIFIED of blood, but I am going to have to get over that fear, and patch him up. His life is MORE important to me that my silly fear. I'm also scared to death of throwing gernaids. But, if I have to destory an enemy, before he kills me, and puts my mission at stake, I have to put that fear aside, and just do it (and pray I do it right!!!)

No one is without fear...but what makes us differnt, is we know what we have to do, and we do it.

And, Ms Stacey, you are a rude little tramp. What gives you the right to down the US Military? Oh..thats right...ME, my battle buddies, my NCOS my officers and everyone who has served before me, who have died in the line of duty and those who will serve after me. Gee...imagine that!!!

  6. It matters if your brave or courageous before you join.

  7. You've been watching too much television

  8. No thats just what they say in the comercials

  9. Only fools are fearless.  The army will teach people how to manage their fear and be soldiers.

  10. No that is not true what they do train you for is how to act under pressure and not let the fear control you! Everyone fears something.

  11. No, they train you to use your fear in a constructive way. Anyone who has no fear with bullets flying past them is one who won't live the day.
