Is it true that the bees are dying off? What's causing this?

Also I heard that if the bees die off, we do too. Please explain. Thanks!

  1. I think its because of all of the pollution and not enough flowers.


  2. well yes bee are dying off, because everytime they sting someone they die minutes later, also pesticides that are being released are harmful to them.

    Yes it is, and it's happening everywhere. China, the UK, Australia, USA, etc. are all losing honey-bees. While as of yet, african honey-bees seem unaffected, the cause is still undetermined.

    While pesticides, viral agents, and microorganisms such as bacteria or fungi have been studied as the possible cause, no conclusive evidence suggest that any one of these could be the cause alone.

    The problem is that a lot of agricultural business is possible because of their pollination abilities, without these honeybees to do their work we could very well be in alot of trouble in the next couple of decades.
