  1. My mom says only stupid people ask questions, and she should know!

  2. I don't think that is true. What if the person asks the same question all the time.. I think that instead of asking questions, one should rather find the answers and then share the knowledge

  3. No, the more dense and confused you are, the more questions you ask.

  4. Oh my hehe I hope yes just ask my Yahoo buddies I ask so many questions. I think this Saturday and Sunday I asked about 10 :))) I love to learn and discover and I love feedback from everyone here because they can make me look at things in a different way it is awesome :))))

  5. no. some people are bright just because they are determined to whatever they are doing.

but if ur asking that if someone who asks a lot of questions is bright, then maybe. since his mind can't really settle for something, he wants to know about everything. a curious mind i guess.

  6. Curiosity is a Hall mark of active mind . But an Active mind is not necessarily a bright mind !  I will say intelligence  is no indication of the number of questions you ask But depends on the quality of Questions :-)

  7. The brighter you are, the more intelligent questions you HAVE TO ask, the more critically you LISTEN  to the ANSWERS and the more you must ANALYZE and try to locate this information in CONTEXT  with what you ALREADY KNOW. Then you must be able to RETAIN that information in order to BUILD on it so they must LEARN.

The brighter you are, the more you realize that you don't know enough about anything so you HAVE TO ask more. If you are brighter, then  any incoming information has to be critically assessed. Bright people are brighter because they are not arrogant they LISTEN  to the answer, place it in their own framework of 'truths'  A person with dementia may ask 'what time is it' every few minutes, they can not use this information, nor retain it, so they are no longer able to learn new skills and over time lose old knowledge and skills as the dementia progresses..

So it may or may not be true depending on whether the above processes also occur.

  8. I do not agree with that statement, and I know what I am talking about ..... ha ha.

There is a friend of mine that seldom asks questions but she sure is one of the wisest ones in here, JJ.

  9. Gosh by that measure my intelligence quotient remains in kindergarten compared to the sqillions of attested brain cell outpourings others pour forth. A wise one said I should ask questions, but I really cant think of any, my last few feeble attempts being further evidence of this.

My ''Is God ... ? '' questions are without variance deleted and there isn't that much I seek to learn or know of.

A wise head holds a still tongue, an outspoken person eliminates all doubt of idiocy...

**Living proof we evoke God, good or bad with our thoughts and words.**

  10. It does not depend on the quantity of the questions.

It is about the quality of them.

A bright person makes bright questions that help us think and answer accordingly.  A bright person can post many or not questions, depending on their mood and the things they feel like asking.

  11. is it that true? how come? but why? is there a contrary view? where did you read that? what where when how why?

  12. Actually, I think it is the opposite!!!  The brighter you are, the less questions you have to ask.

  13. the brighter I am

    the more ignorant I am.
