Question:

Is it true that the city of Paris, France eliminated ALL pigeons? And if so, how?

I heard this comment as an aside that somebody made on a documentary about the Eiffel Tower.

  1. No there are still pigeons in Paris, but it would be a good idea to put them outside of towns because they are doing dirty things on cars and everywhere !


  2. Not true at all.  I just got back from Paris 3 weeks ago and they are still there.  There's a man who hangs outside Notre Dam who sort of takes care of a bunch of them I think.  In any event, he's always surrounded by them.

  3. If they have then they've done so in the last year unless that was an pygmy eagle or a really big parakeet that sh*t on my coat the last time I was there.

  4. Pigeons were there four years ago when I visited Paris.
