Question:

Is it true that the eye color, depending on the mood and the person, changes from tone to tone?

I read somewhere that the color of the human eye changes, on some cases, depending on the mood of that person. I'm not saying extreme changes (like from brown to light blue) but the tone does change a bit. Is this true? If so, can you give me some info on when that happens? And under what conditions?

  1. No.

  2. from what know the eye does not change tone when your mood changes

  3. cast the doubters aside and read this bit of truth,,,

My best friend has hazel colored eyes normally,,, when she gets really mad or upset they go to a green color, not any of the indecisive shades of green mind you, but a full on green.   This only happens rarely, not when she is frustrated or tired or just upset,,, only when she is really livid about something.

As she usually calms down fairly quickly, I'm not sure if her return to hazel is due to the passage of time or if it is due to her calming.  I do know I have seen her eyes be green and stay that way for at least an hour and a bit more.

  5. mine tends to look different...just subtle changes of course. like how blue or grey it looks. or if I've been really upset and crying, they look bright blueish green for a while.

this isn't scientic fact of course though, sorry. just personal experience.
