um no I think that Muay Thai is one of the most brutal martial arts that there is, and if you watch the people who invented it, they are most likely going to be the best at it, thats like trying to beat Hawaiian's in surfing, or Canadians in hockey, I mean this isnt kickboxer the Van Damme movie.

I have never known agressiveness to be characteristic to a discipline.  More to an individual.  So I have to say that no it is not true.

Being more fierce or aggressive in a muay thai fight can work against you because you can run out of gas much quicker, then the relaxed thai boxer will take you apart with calm, strong technique.
