Is it true that the original title of "Brown Eyed Girl" was "Brown Skinned Girl?"?

Cuz a friend of mine told me that, and I have no reason to doubt him.

He said it was too hot (controversial) for the djs , etc...so it was changed to "Brown Eyed Girl." Anyone know?

  2. I always thought that the original was bblondhaired girl.  Van broke up with that girl just before recording and changed the lyric.
