Is it true that the price of gas will be $7 per gallon come December 2008?

Will buy or trading in a hybrid vehicle be the smart thing to do? Or shall we all ride bikes and roller blade to work and school?

At the rate that everything is going, it will most likely hit $8 or $9.

Ive heard that too, and Im freaking out. I live in Alaska, so its impossible to ride a bike and stuff in the winter, way too dangerous. I dont know what I will do, Ill probably have to quit school and work another job (already have one) just to be able to put gas in my tank..and food on my table, because food prices are skyrocketing as well :(

Good  reading  your stuff again dread I believe you are  in to something  it probably will go up bit I doubt  that far by 08 but many  are saying that  we need   more  corn or things  like  that to bring  the price  down but  I seriously doubt it. I have  heard  that they will go down by  drilling in the USA That may help conserve oil but it  probably  wont go down Politicians are saying they can bring it down   but honestly I don't  see how. Sorry for my pessimism but  The only alternative is  keep drilling in Canada  and  they are  already  hurting becauae of  the  price politic's only role is pointiung at the ither party which doesn't solve  anything we have great tech stuff but the  price of gas wll probably keep going up

Highly unlikely unless the Democrats win big time in November.  To appease their ultra-rich environmentalists lobby they are likely to at least double the taxes on gas either directly or indirectly through higher corporate taxes and a windfall tax.
