  1. Psilocybe mushrooms are known to have a compound called LSD.

    Those spores cannot burn of course, because of lack of mass, escape velocity and resistance to burn up, these belongs also to dust and particles. LOL


  2. I had to post because of the answer going on about LSD, it is not LSD, LSD is made from the fungus ergot that grows on rye (RIP Albert Hoffman).

    Most shrooms contain psilocybn & psilocyin (excuse spelling), apart from the amanita's (Ibotenic acid/muscimal). The closest alkaloid to LSD is the naturally occuring LSA found in morning glories.

    I don't know about burning up perhaps they would just float down (I can't imagine why they'd be coming through the our atmosphere anyway !)
