Is it true that the zamzam well will never dry up?

One of the greatest attributes of Zamzam is that it will never dry up. This is a gift from Allaah to Makkah and to its pilgrims. Ibn 'Abbaas narrated that the Prophet said: "... May Allaah bestow his mercy upon her (Hagar, the mother of Ismaa’eel), had she let go (of the water of Zamzam) it would have become a spring (rather than a well) whose water shall never dry." [Ahmad]

Every year, millions upon millions of pilgrims drink Zamzam water, which has been around for thousands of years. It is fed daily to the Prophet's mosque in Madeenah in large quantities, and is packaged and shipped to millions of Muslims worldwide, without the slightest blemish in its flow. It is the epitome of munificence; the more we drink, the more it gives.

If so, why does the Saudi Geological Survey pump water and store it?

From wikipedia with sources: the underground aquifer that supplies water to the well only has an area of 60 square kilometres, and during extended periods of dry weather, the water levels drop. In order to ensure that there is enough Zamzam water for the pilgrims, the water is pumped out from the well and stored in storage tanks at the basement level during off-peak seasons. During the pilgrimage season, the stored water together with additional water drawn from the subterranean water table around the Zamzam well are pumped into water dispensers for the benefit of the pilgrims.

Does that mean it can deplete??

We will never run out of zamzam water, Mashallah it's a blessing.

Millions vist, drink and take lots of it back home to their families etc, it's never ran out.

I don't know about the storing, but i think maybe it's a just in case thing lol, they may be worried it won't last? I don't know. But it's said to never run out and dry.

It is true zam zam will never finish, there is a story 100 years ago, when a man went into the zam zam well to check where the water was cooming from, and he check every side and could not figure out where it came from, it was to him a "miracle"

Zam Zam can only be found in  Makkah , and abit of water is sent to Madinah..

There is no harm in storing the zam zam, at the end of the day it will still be zam zam...its stored so saudi can serve all the guests zam zam quickly, and not keep on taking from the well which takes a long time

Now "To Raw" Allah cured ur mother NOT zam zam..
