Is it true that there are 7 levels of h**l?

I heard this a long time ago from another Muslim saying there are 7 levels of h**l and that . The first h**l being the "best" h**l ( lol ), and the 7th layer being reserved for the absolute worst

How much truth is to this?

This comes from the Hadith and. 7 levels are from christian mythology and Dante's inferno. Their is to my knowledge no mention of 7 layers of h**l in the Quran, only 7 gates

Yes in the Qur'an surah 39 Az Zumar  verse or ayat 16 Allah spoke that the h**l has many levels  made of fire .Allah warned the humans with azab or punishment or torturing.Allah called for us to be a taqwa persons In hadits of Muhammad pbuh it is said that h**l has 7 levels  in line with the degree of their sins.The last beneath is for the worst one.
