Is it true that there are more Mexicans living in the United States than in Mexico?

There are over 70 mil legalized Mexicans and over 50 mil undocumented ones, maybe even more (if you believe for every legal, there's at least 5 illlegals). Mexico's population is about 100 mil. Does this effect the US economy in any way - positive/negative? I'm thinking all the free education in the public schools plus welfare, food stamps, subsidized housing and reimbursed medical care they get has to add up.

  1. it doesnt effect our economy in a bad way. if they left it might.

and most of the "facts" you hear about illegal mexicans is just racist propaganda that backwoods rednecks spread around to each other

  2. It can affect in some way. True story: I work at Panda Express in California and the chief who work there are mainly Mexican. Only one Asian guy who doesn't speak English cooks. Though I am pretty cool with them because they are cool to hang out with, they are issues in economic world.

  3. I wish they would all move here and I would move to Mexico where the weather is warmer.

  4. I would believe so. I don't know that for a fact though. It won't be too long before Spanish is THE first language for the US.

  5. Lulz. This topic has been discussed until it's run dry.

  6. I'm from the US but my family and parents are from mexico. No one could really say if there is are not. But i live in texas, and i wonna say that mexicans are storming the U.S.

And as for free education in the public schools plus welfare, food stamps, subsidized housing and reimbursed medical care they get has to add up, i lived off that when i was younger. But now I'm a tax payer, But i do think some mom should get it. But some parents just live off it and it cost us money. But I think it does. But if we could pay for High ways, building, etc. shouldn't hurt to help some moms out.

  7. Immigrants that are here illegally do not have the documentation required to apply for welfare or food stamps or any aid.

If any other animal can move from country to country, people should be able to do the same.

  8. All  tax payers are feeding the illigal aliens who have been eating up our resources free and give tremendous financial burden to the usa.

In the year 2045, far majority of the population in the usa will turn to be Mexicans, and usa will become the new Mexico.

The problem is, in the future, the quality and capability of americans will be lower and lower because this country will be formed and leaded mostly by Mexicans.  What I am saying is, a strong and prosperous usa needs more than just mexicans traits and characteristics, but people from all different races.  Each race has its own trait and characteristics which will turn to be the assets of the usa.

I don't see how the usa be able to continue to be the world power, economically and military if far majority of our population are Mexicans. We need all kind of highly capable people to continue to serve in the scientific, medical, technological, political and financial arena. I doubt if it is safe to leave all these jobs to the future Mexicans to help serve this goals well.

I hope the usa government can attract more difference races from other countries to come to the usa to make it more diversified, instead of opening the door solely for the mexicans.

We need people immigrate to the usa from Europe, Asia, middle east, or any continents to help this country to balancing out the ratio of each race so to  maintain good numbers of higly capable people in different arena to run the future for america efficiently and successfully.

  9. Absolutely not.

I don't know how many Mexicans there are in the United States, but I just checked wikipedia and Mexico's population in 2008 was estimated to be 106,682,500.

  10. r u sure there are 70 million mexicans here? that seems way to much and 50 million undocumented. they said there was 12 million undocumented people and that didnt just include mexicans.

  11. yeah   but the way are economy is going.....they will be too!!!

  12. No it's not true. Traveling outside of one's country can provide an amazing amount of perpective.

Most illegal aliens are not qualified to receive welfare, food stamps, subsidized housing and reimbursed medical care, and even if they were they would be too scared to apply for them.

Also, most of them pay taxes and never get tax refunds so they're (generally speaking) contributing a larger amount of their incomes to public services than we are, and don't even collect them.

  13. Have all "undocumented workers" register in a 3 month period.  The stipulation is that  if you do not register in that three months you will not be eligible for the program that we come up with.  This is the only way we can verify how big the problem is and how we can deal with it!  Some say 10 Mil some say 12 Mil - Who knows and until we know the real number we can not find a solution.
