I have just read that only people who live in the city center have the right to drive their car there and that other cars are not allowed to enter the center. Is this true? Thanks.

  1. At the moment no.  There has been talk of a "tax/fee" for those that enter Milan using the car, to try to cut down on pollution/parking problems etc.  At the moment it is just talk and hasn't been put into effect yet.  As far as the city center, like the previous poster mentioned, around the Duomo cars are forbidden.

  2. In this moment it isn't. This is only suggestion. In the centre of milan you can drive your car, only round Duomo the cars doesn't go, but any rood of milan is ok.
