He was the last undisputed white heavyweight champion. Gerry Coetzee held the WBA title from 1983-1984. Tommy Morrison held the WBO title for about five months in 1993. Then you have Klitschko and all the other Russians (i.e. former Soviets) that have had various titles since 2000.

if you are referring to the linear champion, then tommy morrisson won it when he defeated george foreman in '93, (morrisson lost it to michael bentt, who in turn lost it to herbie hyde who was beaten by riddick bowe who retired......since then vitali klitschko was briefly recognized by some as linear champ before he retired.

but there have been several fighters such as francisco damiani, gerrie coetzee, the klitschko's and all the other eastern europeans who won partial titles.

whites dominate the division almsot 10 years now and they would have dominate it from the day ussr woudl allow them leave the borders and be professional!if u look the olympic and wordl amatuer championships white won more medals than blacks but oh well u american right??lol

I presume you are discounting the current crop of White Heavyweight champions that are currently dominating the division.

Tommy Morrison held a version of the belt in the early 90s.

white people tend to dominate other divisions black people on the other hand are excelent at a higher weight division due to their muscle and bone mass

Ingemar Johansson was the last linear and true white heavyweight champion.  If you include all of the sanctioning bodies titles, then there are 3 current white heavyweight titleholders, all of them are from eastern Europe- Wladimir Klitschko is the IBF and WBO titleholder and is the consensus number 1 guy right now.  And Ruslan Chagaev is the WBA titleholder.

Also, Tommy Morrison never held the linear title.  He did defeat George Foreman, but that was BEFORE Foreman knocked out Michael Moorer to win the linear title.  The only title Morrison ever held was the WBO belt.
