They sent me an email, they said my papers were approved, and they forwarded it to the immigration but I have to pay 300 euro for the HRSDC. they even gave me a deadline on 23 May 2008 otherwise my application will be forfeited. Is this true? Do I have to process it or it is just a scam? I need an answer. Thank you.

  1. No, it's a scam. Period.

  2. No, no, no.

You sent your papers - I assume that's a copy of your passport...you've likely just become a victim of identity theft.

Do NOT send them any money.

Legitimate employers do NOT recruit people blindly by email.

  3. This is a scam do not reply  They dont have phone listings

  4. This seems to come up at least once a day. If you did not apply for this job specifically, then it is a scam. If you owed money to the Canadian government, you'd get official documents and real-life contact information (like a phone or fax number), which you could use to contact them to verify anything.

I'll wager your e-mail comes from some address like "canadian_immigration2434@hotmail.com" or something equally dubious. Finally, I'm reasonably sure there is no Royal Regina Hotel. But like I say, this scam comes up on a daily basis here. Do not send any money.
