Is it true that there is a law that people have to recycle?

I believe it should be my choice if I want to recycle or not. Why don't we just make a landfill out of the grand canyon that should hold trash for many years.

There are laws that say we have to dispose of unwanted stuff responsibly.It is no longer a choice - we clean up our act or the planet will kill us off.

I believe they have a similar law in Singapore.. it's illegal to throw a gum wrapper on the floor [or any trash at all]. That's why Singapore is the cleanest country in the world. [that a fact by the way].

it will be soon that we  will have a  law that people   must be recycled,as compost and pet food would be the best way to start with,

and the people that are into landfills should fill the land first
