Is it true that there is no longer any true journalism and that all journalism is owned by a few people?

It's true because over 90% of the journalists in the U.S. -- by their own admission -- have a liberal, leftist bias and therefore slant all news in that direction.

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

So you have the right to publish your own Journalistic prose.  

now, what exactly do you mean by "True Journalism?"   How can one own "all Journalism?"   When you have the right (see above) and the means (ie internet) to publish your OWN opinions?  

Or are you complaining that all "broadcast media" is owned by a few corporations?   That is a completely different subject and has nothing to do with "True Journalism".

In London, they have Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park where people could speak freely without fear of repriasal from the King. (btw...that is where "getting on a soap box" phrase was coined)    In America we don't have such a corner....we can do that just about anywhere (within social norms and reason).

In the US, yes, because we don't have laws limiting the number of news outlets one can own.  There are 7 big ones

A long resounding YES!

Google "The Bilderberg Group". It's a conference that all of the richest and most powerful people in the world are invited to, and guess who's at the top of there list to invite? Media CEO's, to shut them up. If invited to the function, that media group has to sign a documnet swearing to never ever put anything in the media about them or about what is discussed. and at this function these people make decisions about the world, they control what goes in the media, what politician is going to go into office, and whether there are any wars they want to start for ther profit.
