Is it true that there will be a recall on the Verizon LG enV?

One of my friends told me that there was going to be a recall on all LG enV's because they often turn off on their own and break randomly. [Just like mine does] Does anyone know if this is true?

im not sure about the recall, but i know that if you have problems with your env, verizon will replace it with a refurbished one. if you still have problems they will let you upgrade early (eventually - it takes awhile). depending on the situation they will let you pay the 2-year contract price for a different phone or give it to you at no cost.
