Is it true that theres less UV protection @ the poles than on the rest of the of the earth atmosphre sufaces?

I was thinking of moving closer to one of the poles to get away from the noticeable heat of global warming for awhile.

  1. There's three types of UV light, classified according to wavelength - UVA, UVB and UVC.  The ozone layer absorbs almost all the UVB and UVC light.  Ozone depletion is most significant over the polar regions, especially Antarctica and as such there is more UV light (of all 3 types) able to penetrate the atmosphere in these regions.
