Is it true that they're going to stop making water bottles?

My sister said that she heard it on the news and that it costs too much money to make and ship the water bottles.

There really needs to be some incentive for buying nalgenes and water purifiers. It's much better for the environment (and consumer) to get 1 reusable bottle and stop filling landfills with water bottles. I try not to get them, but if I have to, I try to refill and recycle.

I don't know but they should. They should just have like fountain drinks with all the different waters or something. All that plastic?!!

Producing the bottles took 17 million barrels of oil, not including the fuel to transport the bottles, according to the Pacific Institute. They might stop for you guys.. but they will then ship them overseas to us (live in middle east)... We have been using plastic water bottles long before you guys... You just cant lug gallons of water on a desert trip in glass bottles, too heavy...
