  1. Totally untrue!!  I spent two weeks in Germany a few months ago,  The food was excellent with the same good ingredients as in the USA.  I ate in Frankfurt, Nuremberg, Wurzburg, and Saarbrucken.

  2. with a bit pepper it tastes quite good

  3. HAHAHAH thats the biggest bull-****  i have ever heard i go to germany every year and i have never eaten a feline canine or rodent or saw one on any menu german food is delicous eat it all!!!

  4. Who comes up with that kind of rubbish. Germany is one of the leading countries in Animal Welfare in the world.

  5. I,ve stayed in germany and there was never anything like that on then menu. I think starving prisoners of war might have eaten rats in the camps in germany.

Now in  china and korea they eat anything that moves - there is a saying that in china they eat anything that flies except aeroplanes and anything with legs except chairs and tables!

  6. I live in Germany and: NO, it is not true!!!!

We eat same things like people in the US and some national dishes........but in no one is any dog or rat or cat!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  7. This is Germany and not China...you mixed that up!

  8. Lol.  I am going to show this question to my German husband.  Anyway, I have been there a few times and never saw it on a menu...but I live in China now and...

  9. LOL ROFL.

No  you would be referring to many Asian cultures who have a far different diet than we are used too. In Vietnam for example dogs are a delicacy, other places chilled monkey brains!!

So the oddest I have ever seen in Germany was a specialty restaurant that served things like Venison, Alligator, Crocidile, Kangaroo, and a few others.  That was in Jena.

So pets are safe no worries!! Germans are as civilized and as modern as any other Major World Nation.

  10. They might, but these items are not popular food items.  Just like in the USA, some regions of  the country eat some unusual stuff.

  11. lol...i wouldn't just say Germany..they probably eat them in every country you just don't hear about it.

  12. have you been living under a rock? It is the 21st century.

People might have done so during WWII (world war two 1939-1945 in case you haven't heard of it).

  13. My goodness - NO!

Who did tell you this? Don't compare us with Asian countries!
