  1. There is a theory about a Planet X (no lie) but your gonna have to look on you tube for the rest they have good documentaries on it.


  2. No. We are still happy with finding only planets inside our own galaxy. The furthest planet discovered until now is about 21000 LY away from Earth, in direction of the center of the Galaxy.

    There is a unconfirmed detection of a planet outside our Galaxy, by gravity lensing, but the measurement will very likely never be repeated, as both Earth, Planet and gravity lens move on.

    Some planets are most likely similar to Earth, but except spectral analysis of their atmosphere, no further information is known.

  3. they haven't actually found planets outside our galaxy because nothing comes even close to having that kind of magnification and resolving ability.  But, the current star creation model suggests that planets are common, so there's no reason to expect stars in other galaxies wouldn't have planets.
