  1. Yup! They have banned smoking in restaurants as of January 2008. The reason probably being is that smoke effects everyone in the restaurant. Someone sipping wine isn't going to effect someone else's health.  


  2. um not sure, but did you know july 1, 2007... all of the uk banned smoking. not in pubs, taxi, restaurants, the only place to smoke is outside or in your house.

  3. The french would have an uprise on their hands if such ban were made. No smoking was banned in public areas in Mexico City. The French would go mad, their passive smokers and, even though they are upright on rules they would ignore this rule. Restaurant consuming would fling back down.
