there is a saying around us that use of tomotoes in our daily food causes kidney stone. is it true? is it that we have to avoid tomotoes in our daily diet?

  3. More the quantity of the tomatoes, more risk for kidney stone.It is true. This concept is scientifically based. Our excretion system is not able to through out the unnecessary part of the tomatoes which are not required by our body and gradually over the time it turned into kidney stone

  4. no tomatoes by themselves do not cause stone formation in kidneys,but patients with kidney problems should avoid them as it increases already formed stone size .normal healthy people can hav them.

    but If U R already Kidney Patient ....u r Not Supposed To eat Tomato For Health Reasons....even kidney Patients are Not Supposed To eat fruits

  9. That is ridiculous..tomatoes do not cause kidney stones!

    An excess of salts in the blood stream, caused by gout or hormone disorders...infections of the urinary tract, especially if these obstruct the flow of urine..not drinking enough fluids..prolonged bed-rest..may also be caused by minerals in the water supply (in certain geographical areas).
