That using Utorrent is more able to get busted by the government for downloading music as opposed to using limewire, etc.

I use Utorrent and If thats the case.... Its gone...

No not true at all.  Limewire is the one that the "watch dog" company cares about the most because average people are the ones that use it (meaning the most users) they are not that concerned with torrent downloading right now because the average person can't even tell you what a torrent is much less how to download one.  Another thing when they watch torrent downloading they can't view it via the torrent but rather the tracker ie: isohunt.com so i would suggest going with less popular trackers.

oh yeah one more thing. Someone mentioned something about them not being able to track you and the government only using their time on big guys.  First, off they can track your ip adress so i suggest getting a rolling ip address.  Second, the goverment does not waste their time on small timers.  However it isn't the goverment that deals with minor p2p downloading.  All the music, movie, and software companies hire "watch dog" services that track downloading.  If that service catches they will send you a letter saying that either you pay xx amount or we will take you to civil court.  Most of the time people pay xx amount (usually around 5 to 10 thousand dollars not that bad) or they ignore it.  And in every case but one no one has been taken to court.  But the one that has was a single mother with a min wage job and three kids who downloaded 29 songs.  She went to court and even got a jury trial.  The jury decided that each song she downloaded was worth 10000 dollars coming out to a total of 290,000 dollars.  Basically the moral of this story is no one is a hundred percent safe.

But the government is not going to be wasting money, in busting small people.. but they rather go for the big guys instead (busnesses, cause more money) .. so don't worry.. take it easy and enjoy =D

~btw i reckon limewire is more risky ...

I use utorrent and so far no FBI at my door. I'm more scared using limewire than utorrent because I heard limewire is being watched by the feds.
