Question:

Is it true that we have two inexperienced candidates running for high office here in the U.S.A. ?

One is running as a Presidential candidate, the highest office we have to offer.

The other running on the ticket as a VP, the second highest office.

Both are running with experienced politicians, are they not?

So I ask. Which is scarier? Something happens to McCain and Palin replaces him with a VP that is also experienced?

or

Something happens to Biden and is replaced by who? Would that replacement be Pelosi or someone else of Barack's chosing?

Which do YOU feel safer supporting?

  1. Thanks for 2 points. Why would palin replace Mccain with anyone else other than herself? You probably meant replace herself?

Your question does not make sense.

The unexperienced one in the dumocrat party is obama himself. Your question was about the inexperienced one. so why would you ask if anything happens to the experienced one -  BIDEN?

  2. I don't trust Obama's judgement. I'd prefer Palin.

  3. The ticket with the experience Presidential candidate..

  4. Who do you feel safer running your government ?  Some one that believes government is the problem and will work to dismantle it or some one that believes government has an obligation to do those things that people can not do as individuals.  The choice in this election is an easy one.  Never has there been such a contrast between the two candidates.  One believing you should be on your own in life's struggles and the other believing government has a place in helping ease the tough times in ones life.

  5. I thought Obama was a senator for several years both in his home state and the US Senate, which was some kind of position of power and provided experience of how the government works, leadership and whatnot. And that he's an author of several books, law-maker, and such and such. I don't know what qualifies one as president, being VP previously, being a governor for several terms. I'm pretty sure senators have become president before. I don't think it's about experience anymore, it's about saving this country from corrupt bullies, and I think Obama is going to do more to fix that than McCain, but not without our continued efforts to protest any and all abuses of power and criminal acts in our leaders. Might does not equal right, it equals jail time and war crimes.

  6. The difference is that the Democratic PARTY listened to, and ELECTED Obama.

McCain pulled Palin out of his azz.

We are comfortable with Obama and will vote for him.

Are you REALLY okay with Palin, or is that what you were stuck with?

I'm not talking about the monotonous "she's the bee knees" that you feel OBLIGATED to say because you want to be supportive (like you had a choice), but quietly in your own mind, don't you think McCain could have given this a little more thought.

Personally, if Obama had screwed up that bad, I'd tell him to go to h**l and vote for McCain.

  7. McCain/Palin

IMO McCain's Sec. of State should be a moderate with a lot of experience.

  8. i look at one ticket and i see a creationist and a global warming denier - in other words, i see one ticket includes an individual incapable of rational thought standing behind a 72 year old one heart beat away - mccain just made my decision in november a lot easier.

  9. McCain is who I feel safe with and the funny thing is,, I would still feel safe with Palin but not Obama

  10. McCain 's 20 years of sittin in the senate taught him to approve bush thats scary

  11. I want Obama president. He will be great friend of the best country in the world, Russia.

  12. experience has become an irrelevant aspect of politics. look at kennedy who had relatively little experience and compare him to bush who had much experience to offer. now you tell me who served the country better. not to mention more time in washington usually means more lobbyists to please and more asses to kiss. the way government has conducted itself in the past years is an indication change needs to be made, is it not? and what better way to make this change than with a president from meager beginnings who has displayed incredible conviction and determination to make it to democratic presidential candidate.

  13. Well the latter is less likely to happen.  Obama's a bigger target than Biden is.

What's scary is Palin's strong biblical ties.

  14. republican ticket

  15. McCain would be the oldest inaugerated President if elected and he could kick the bucket any moment.  That would then leave us with a governor who was in charge of her kids' PTA.  That is just scary.

  16. McCain and Palin. No question. She hates abortion and loves guns.

    OBAMA '08!

  17. You have a good question. I believe Palin has a terrific future and given time could be a top candidate. I have a problem with her being a VP now. She has run a government (state) which speaks well for her, but the US VP? I'll have to see and hear more. On the other hand I have sincere issues with Obama's decision making ability. This is due to his terrible choice in friends / supporters going back to the support of the corrupt Chicago Daley machine and continuing till recent times. Of course the shame of attending a racist church for 20 years goes without saying. No worry about Biden. He will put his foot in his mouth soon enough.
