Yes they do.. When the proper tools installed like advanced counters etc.. they can see exactly what page you visit, how long, how you got to the website, what keyword did you use and search engine..

With a little scripting (if not with the counters) it also tells what OS you're using, the browser software used, your monitor  resolution (400*800 / 1024*768 / etc..) your IP address, and based on that your location....

To make the answer short: yes they can ;o)
