  1. That's definitely a myth.  Time is really the only thing that actually sobers you up.

  2. peeing releases the alcohol from your body, so does sweating. the time difference isnt great but it does speed up the process slightly

  3. No.

Most of the alcohol is metabolized by the liver.

  4. nope.  there shouldn't be any alcohol in your urine, or atleast not much.  either way, alcohol isn't absorbed from your bladder so you aren't losing any alcohol by peeing.

alcohol itself is a diuretic so it will make you go more often than you would otherwise, but that doesn't get rid of the alcohol.

  5. You become sober when you stop drinking!

  6. No.

  7. No...

  8. no not true

  9. Time is your only helper.  You're going to pee more anyway when you're drinking and just a little bit of alcohol will leave your system. If you eat while drinking, that helps to absorb some of the alcohol. But what you heard is a myth.

  10. yeah

  11. Far as I know, your body is trying to process the alcohol, but it doesn't mean that when you pee, you sober up.  Just means that you have less fluid in your body.  Somebody else said that sweating will help you process alcohol, which is false.  It dehydrates you, so the alcohol is more present in your bloodstream; that is, less fluid, same amount of alcohol = high percentage of alcohol in bloodstream.  I experienced this when trying to play frisbee late at night while drunk.  I ended up feeling much worse afterwards.
