Is it true that when you press *67 on a phone, you can call someone and the caller ID won't show up.?

I really want to know because a lot of people say it, but i think it's a lie that they made up. I want the truth, and don't don't freakin joke around.

  1. correct!! yes....its true...! but remember, if the other party uses *77 to block any *67 calls....then its will not get thru!!

  3. It is true. It works once per call.

    From wikipedia:

    *67 - Calling Number Delivery Blocking - Allows the subscriber to temporarily change the permanent public/private status indicator of his/her directory number (DN) and thus control its availability to the called party. Also known as per-phone call Caller ID Blocking
