Is it true that women believe hot guys are more likely to be good on the inside?

tehabwa NO, i am definitely NOT only looking at the super hot young girls. i am into wide variety of women. i often find girls hot whom most guys wouldn't think are the hottest. if i believed it was just pretty girls around my age who were superficial, i wouldn't be so worried.

I have met a few 'cute guys' and their attitude to women is just terrible. I think that they get away with a lot more so their arrogance grows. I think that younger women will fall for this more.

I 'dated' a very handsome man a couple of years ago - he turned out to be a complete waste of space, and now if I were to see him I would just cringe!

I agree with you, but I think that you need to work on your self esteem - I bet you are not half as ugly as you think you are - I was called ugly when I was a teenager, and it was usually just spite, though of course at the time it totally destroyed my confidence.

No appearance means not much to me. Are you a good looking guy? Have you ever dated a person because you like what you see or because of who they are? I'm not judging you though. It's usually that the majority of guys who are as you say "jerks" are old guys that don't have much luck with the ladies. But you must be in high school or college? After those years are up you will see that the girls giving the attention to the good looking "jerks" are just as immature as the boys they give it to.

i used to have a guy friend...who was not really good looking...but was really sweet. in fact he was my bestest best bestyest friend in the whole world...( ive lost contact with him though)

but last i talked to him ( over 5 yrs ago) he was married with a child...oh yes..he did get the girl pregnant first...but instead of running off and leaving her with a baby to raise...he married her before she gave birth.

so was he a jerk?..no way! but to be honest i really do not know if he was in love with her...i think he cared for her...and wanted to be in his daughters life...

but i dont know if he was in love with her...or not.

but to be honest...i know he was in love with me. ....he told me he was pretty much when we last talked. He said if he didnt have a child with his wife...if i wanted him too..he would leave her for me....

I do not under any circumstances break ppl up. and besides..i didnt have the same feelings for him...i loved him yes....but only as a friend..nothing more..sad isnt it?

mature ppl realize that looks have nothing to do with personality....if you are a good person hero..and girls do not want anything to do with you...because of how you look..it is thier loss.

I try to label a guy a jerk only after his behaviour has proven to me that he is, in fact, a jerk.

I've known some good-looking guys who were absolute jerks. I've known some ugly guys who were jerks too. I know alot of guys who are nice - some good looking (like my husband!) and some not. I hope I wouldn't be so shallow as to assume that because a guy is ugly he is therefore also a jerk. Not fair.

This is a fairly common view about young girls who are both hot and superficial. If all the women you're interested in fit that profile, then that's where you're going wrong.

Uh, the media? The media is NOT reality, or a reasonable reflection of reality.

But even so, yes, there have frequently been cute guys cast as bad guys.

If you think of grown women as girls, this is probably why they dislike you.

If you're talking about actual girls, not women, then, yes, many young peole are immature and superficial -- especially those whose good looks lead people to treat them as little princesses; many grow out of it.

I suspect you're only watching the behavior of the cutest girls. If you'd open your eyes, you'd see that there are a lot of less cute girls who DON'T value looks above all else.

I find, actually, I am more likely to be wary of the good looking guys, as these guys are often more arrogant and believe they can treat women how they like because they'll still get girls through their looks. So, I am probably quicker to label a handsome guy a jerk and am natural drawn to and have more sympathy for quirkier looking guys However, this may be a equally false impression. Whatever my first impressions of a person (which ultimately will probably be based on looks) I hope I can overcome this and get to know the real person underneath - that's what makes a person truly beautiful.
