The point is: Smaller cars are allot harder to hit then bigger ones due to having less surface area to crash into. No offence Ladies please, just a thought.

  1. Men drive smaller cars than women on average.

    Kinda fu*ks up your theory.

74% of 4x4 drivers are women.

  2. no

  3. Not sure, is it true then that noone on a motorbike rarely gets hit as its smaller than a small car?

No, smaller cars are not alot harder to hit than bigger ones.

A whack up the @rse will cause damage whether it is a motorbike, small car or lorry!!

  4. Women have less accidents than men because women are not so dumb as men when they get behind the wheel. Testosterone has SO much to answer for.

  5. The question should be what are the severity of injuries in smaller cars versus larger cars, no matter who's driving.

  6. Its NOT the smaller cars that do it, is it, cos some women drive 4x4 so that throws that arguement right out the window.

    The reason women have fewer accidents than men is because MOST women are considerate drivers. They're not in an unearthly rush no matter what; if someone gives way to you at a junction 9 times out of 10 it will be a woman; women have patience, they're more observant, they're not looking at the slice of hoochy passing, they are watching the road; more women observe and stick to speed limits (if you asking: a man will go at 70 on a 60, a women will state that 60 is the maximum NOT a minimum);

As for your comment re: smaller cars being harder to hit... if we are the ones supposedly driving these cars, then you are saying MEN are the ones trying to hit us, thus making the point that our cars are too small to hit with your careless driving antics... at least thats the way it l@@ks from where Im standing!! HAHAHA!!!

  7. No, that is not why, we are more aware of our surrounding and what is going on and we are better at multi tasking then most men, especially after we have kids. I drive a Dodge 3500 Long bed, and a Durango and have not had an accident in either of my big vehicles.

  8. women and men drivers i say 50/50

  9. no the simple fact is that there are less women on the roads!

  10. We have less accidents because we are the better drivers :-)

  11. FALSE:

Women do not have less accidents than men. According to the NHTSA the rate of accidents for the median age group of 25-45 the rate for women is 1.6 accidents for every 100,000 miles and for men in the same age group, it is 1.5.

This is only a very small statistical difference.

It only seems as though women have less accidents, because they statistically drive fewer miles than men.

If you go to a lower age group, 16-24 the difference is much greater and much higher for both. This is the most dangerous age group to be behind the wheel.

  12. most women drive huge 4x4's on the school run so no

  13. Statistics can be twisted to suit your point of view.

That said, as a ratio of miles driven : accidents, women are involved in more car accidents than men.

  14. Women may well be involved in less accidents than men but they see a lot more in their rear view mirrors.

  15. no men tink der nigel mansell wen drivin were as women r zzzz drivers

  16. no,its just that women are more safer drivers all round, they aren,t as impatiant on the roads as men.

  17. no its because your all multi tasked and better than us :(

  18. What total nonsense, of course there are less accidents with women drivers, because they ARE, like it or not, better drivers.        I seriously do not think that the size of a vehicle is gonna make any difference to be honest.

I have been driving for over 25 years and have not received so much as a parking ticket.....nor have many of my female acquaintances,   a couple of speeding tickets, but that's about it.

  19. Not because of smaller cars but men tend to drive more aggressively than women and display their aggression in a direct manner, rather than indirectly.

Men typically drive more miles than women and engage more often in risky driving practices including not using a safety belt… and speeding.

  20. Doubtful.

  21. The reason why it is said that women have less accidents than men is because there is a lesser ratio of women drivers to men, thus if you have less women drivers then there will be less reported accidents regardless of the size of vehicle.

  22. I teach drivers and I can tell you from experience ladies are better, the lads get in the car and want to pass thier test and talk about cars etc, and also tell you what you want to hear.

The girls however, get in and say they want to drive for a number of reasons, and talk about safety, and they really are a pleasure to teach, because women listen, men do not. by the way I am male.

  23. No - men have more accidents because they're all swerving out of the way of the crazy women.

  24. its cos women dnt take the risks like men do and women seem t indicate more than men
