Is it true that you're more fertile after a miscarriage?

how soon (on average) do women get pregnant after miscarriage or D&C?

I heard a woman can be highly fertile after a miscarriage. After my miscarriage ,I was told to at least wait 3 full cycles to let the body get back to normal ,but me being me, didnt listen and my bf and I were having s*x as soon as the bleeding stopped. It took 8 weeks for my period to come back as I was told it can take 4 - 6 weeks to come back so for 2 weeks I was geting quite excited thinking we may have concieved again, I took several tests, but they were all coming up negative and then of course my period came, so I was gutted when it came back. However, 1 of my friends had a miscarriage, and fell preganant sometime after and she didnt have a cycle in between so she was lucky enough, to fall pregnant straight away! once again, these things as always, depend on the person!

yes but i was told to wait at least a full cycle before trying again to increase the chances of having a normal and successful pregnancy

I have heard that you are more fertile after a dnc. I just had a miscarriage last week and my doctor told me the wait the 3 cycles before trying to conceive. I was told if I had a dnc that I would have to wait 4 weeks til I could have s*x. I have had s*x after my miscarriage so hopefully I will end up pregnant again real soon.

I don't know if your more fertile but I had a D&C and my doctor recommended that I wait a full cycle before I even thought about getting pregnant. Your body needs time to recoup and you want the healthiest pregnancy possible!
