  1. If that's true, I think I know what my new hobby is going to be !

  2. not sure about the weight, i just know my underwear would be full.....

  3. I don't know about that, but every muscle in your body gets sore from tensing up.

  4. I never heard that but I hope that is true

Im going to look it up right now!

  5. I wouldn't say you lose the weight by doing a single parachute jump, but as a skydiving instructor I tend to lose weight by jumping all day! On a hot summer day taking a dozen people or so on a tandem jump with a heavy rig and hauling their bodies around keeps me in pretty good shape. Add in the sweating a lot and skipping lunch to keep jumping on top of the calories burned and I'm pretty athletic!

I think the source behind it all is just having an outdoors hobby that involves physical activity. It doesn't necessarily have to be skydiving, most any sport will keep you in shape if you do it every weekend. But if you want to become a skydiver, look into:

  6. Absolutely NOT TRUE.  I have jumped quite a few times and haven't lost an ounce doing it.
