  1. of course it is not true. ur friend is just trying to make Islam looks bad.

  2. No. My Muslim friends still watch TV and play video games and so do their children. It is not a religious requirement of Ramadan.

  3. theres no problem in playing video games or watch tv during Ramzan as long as the proper precaution is being followed

  4. no you could watch tv and play videogames but dont watch dirty and disgusting movies or shows.

  5. Video games and TV isn't explicitly forbidden during Ramadan. (Can you imagine how that would have sounded before they were invented?) However, Ramadan is a time to draw nearer to Allah (swt) and unless you are playing a game that teaches you about Islam or you are watching a TV program that helps you remember Allah (swt) and become a better Muslim (fat chance!), you are not doing that. Ramadan is an immense blessing. Don't waste it on some nonsense you can do at an other time of the year. Remember, there are things that will harm your soul, things that would benefit your soul, and things that neither harm nor benefit you. Don't wast your time!

  6. Ramadan isnt any other month, it's a month where we must put more effort into following the teachings of Islam and to avoid obscene and irreligious sights and sounds.

It's a month where we are to slow down from worldly affairs and focus on self reformation, spiritual cleansing and enlightenment.

So that's why it's advisable you stay away from too much TV or gaming.

  7. I don't. My dad usully puts the t.V down in the basement, soo yeah. so no v.g or tv for anyone.

Loll even if someone wanted to watch tv, they wouldnt be able to cuz my basements freakin scary,

just remember Big houses equal scary basmeents.. Lol

  8. let me give you a little advise,

first of all why are you believing ppl words, if we told you yes it is true, so you believe us? no that is not right, you must put your trust and faith in allahs words and donnt take it for granted, read the quran and other books to gain more knowledge so that when ppl tell u those sort of things right away u can tell them that u never read o heard about it, please do NOT listen to ppl, even the most educated have flaws, it is not good to believe ppl esp in islam, so read up more about the religion and learn new tings , only from the books not from what people are saying because then you would be heading in the wrong direction...

YOU CANT CHANGE THE LAWS OF GOD BUT YOU CAN CHANGE THE LAWS OF MAN

  9. You should benefit from this ramadan and not waste your time with playing games and watching t.v.  which you are able to do for 11 months of the whole year.  It is not allowed if what you are watching is indecent and so on.

  10. Yeah Islam is so fun isn't it.

  11. WHAT?!!

    it's not true dude

  12. it is not true, but it is good not to because ramadan is all about getting more good deeds, but if ur on tv or video games all day you wont be getting much good deeds.

so, just make sure you pray the 5 prayers, and not do any sins and you'll be alright.

personally i go to the mosque to pray taraweeh  (were we pray 2 by 2 four times then we pray 3 witar)

  13. I think you have to keep your intention clear and righteous.  What will you watch on TV?  Something good or something bad?  Will it interfere with your other obligations?

In the very special and holiest month of Ramadan, Muslims should strive for spiritual perfection, in all they do.
