Is it true that you bleed when you loose your virginity?

because thats what i heard, and then i heard that you could still keep bleeding even thought you've lost your virginity. well i was wondering because, if you bleed..wouldnt it be a little embarressing ?

There is a bit of skin covering the v****a called the hymen. When you have s*x for the first time, that is broken. Some hymens are thick and some not, so how much you bleed will depend on that. It might be embarrassing but you won't be thinking about that. It stings when it is broken and s*x might not be as pleasurable initially as you had anticipated. It gets better later, though, when you have healed.

Usually you bleed when you lose your virginity.  As someone else said, when your hymen breaks.

Old civilizations used this method to make sure that their wives were virgins.  If they didn't bleed, they could be labeled a prostitute or even stoned to death.

Of course, certain activities, such as horseback riding, can cause the hymen to break early.  This caused problems for some women back then.  And of course, some people just don't bleed.  That caused problems too.

this is not always true, i didnt bleed....

and it shouldnt be embarrasing if your thinking of sleeping with someone that you are comfortable with :)
