  1. I had never heard of this idea until now.  As it has been stated, snoring is a disorder that prevents the proper cycling of the brain through its routine of various brain wave patterns.

I have never seen anything definitive that would preclude one from dreaming while snoring; that is, nowhere have I read that REM sleep is not possible during snoring.

Moral of the story: more than just a little snoring is not good for a person, as it would indicate sleep apnea.  And not much else will mysteriously s***w up your life than this very treatable condition.  I know from personal experience.

Many people suffer from sleep apnea and have no real idea that they do!  If sleep does not refresh you or you hardly dream, these are indicators that you should at the very least  have a sleep test.

  2. I Agree with comment before this one.

  3. I cant dream or "Sleep Deep" while my room mate is snoaring.  That's for sure.

Have you ever heard a snoarer mix jibberish and sleep talk with their messed up breathing.  I imagine that people are dreaming while doing this, but I have now way on knowing, or proving it.

  4. snoring is a breathing "disorder"

    dreaming is a mental process.

    no it's not true
