We just got our house and we want to paint the living room before we move in next week. The only problem is that it is rainy and damp here and will be for the rest of the week. Can I still paint the living room or is that a complete no no!

  1. i live in scotland where it is permant;y raining. I have painted lots of interior of homes while it has been raining and encountered no problems.

  2. The concern would be that the humidity from precipitation would impact on the paint and the drying. It's more of a concern with outdoor painting especially if the paint is water soluble.

Paint away and enjoy your new home.
