No, that is completely false. You'd be lucky find any ships at all that aren't already sold out at this point and if you do, you will pay a lot for it. The rates for cruises are at it's highest anytime kids are out of school including spring break, summer break and any holidays. Christmas and New Year sailings are the most expensive of the year.

If you are talking about the last two weeks of December, the answer is no.  Because it is a school vacation period, it is a very popular time to cruise.  Prices are higher and the ships normally sell out.

Absolutely NOT! I cant tell you how many clients I have trying to book last minute cruises for Christmas and New Years, thinking that same thing! and they are out of luck. --- If you are just two people then SOMETIMES you can jump on at the last minute but the last minute to cruise lines are 3-4 weeks in advance.
