Well, here is the deal. I was not suppose to be due until Sept 9.08 but my baby boy was born at 34 week..... My baby boy did not make it to be with my family and I......... He was born on July 31, 08 at 12:57pm, it was a painful thing for me to go through but I know in my heart that he is up in heaven with great Lord...... And in due time the Lord will blessed my family and I again.........Anyway, My question is: Is it true that you can conceive right away after you have given birth...? Also, even if the spouse pulls out?

  1. I'm so sorry about your son, prayers to you and your family.

Yes, it's true that after giving birth you are very fertile.  Also, withdrawal method isn't a reliable method of contraception at all.  If you're not ready to try for another baby right away you should use another form of contraception.

  2. I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, I ALMOST WENT THROUGH THE SAME THING, MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN AT 34 1/2 WEEKS ALSO BUT LUCKILY SHE PULLED THROUGH AND NOW 9 MONTHS LATER SHE DOESNT EVEN LOOK LIKE A PREEMIE AND I THANK GOD EVERYDAY THAT SHE MADE IT THROUGH THAT. BUT YOUR BABY BOY IS IN A BETTER PLACE AND HE KNOWS YOUR GONNA PULL THROUGH AND GIVE HIM MORE BROTHERS AND SISTERS. YOU CAN DEFINITELY GET PREGNANT VERY WUICKLY, VERY EASILY AFTER GIVING BIRTH. BUT I WOULD SUGGEST FOLLOWING THE RULES AFTER HAVING BIRTH OF NOT HAVING s*x UNTIL AFTER THE 4 OR 6 WEEK RULE, AND PLUS YOUR UTERUS AND BODY NEED TIME TO HEAL ADN I WOULD ALSO THINK YOUR MIND AND EMOTIONS NEED TIME TO HEAL ALSO. BUT I WOULD DEFINITELY WAIT A FEW MONTHS BEFORE TRYING TO HAVE ANNOTHER BABY IF THATS WHAT YOUR PLANNING ON. AS FAR AS THE PULL OUT METHOD, NOT A VERY GOOD METHOD, ALTHOUGH THAT WAS ALL ME AND MY BOYFRIEND USED AS BIRTH CONTROL FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS BEFORE I WENT ON BIRTH CONTROL AND NEVER GOT PREGNANT, I STILL WOULDNT TRUST IT. IF YOUR NOT TRYING TO GET RPEGNANT IF YOUR GONNA GO TO A 6 WEEK CHECK UP I WOULD ASK ABOUT AN IUD, I LOVE IT AND MY BOYFRIEND LOVES, BESIDES HIM FEELING TE STRINGS THAT HANG AND HAVING TO GET THEM CUT IT REALLY IS THE BEST AND I HAVE THE ONE THATS GOOD FOR FIVE YEARS BUT THEY HAVE ONE FOR TEN. GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND MAY GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY THROUGH THESE TROUBLING TIMES.

  3. yes you can

  4. I HAVE HEARD THAT IT TRUTH YES YOU CAN

  5. I am very sorry for your loss!

Yes you can concieve again quickly. As soon as you ovulate again. I know at this point it is hard to say when you will ovulate but if you had unprotected s*x then you have a chance of becoming pregnant. Even using the pull out method because pre c*m has sperm.

  6. Sorry about your loss but yes right after you give birth for the next few months you can get pg again very easily! Becareful though your body needs time to heal.

  7. Yes, however, it is so unlikely that it could almost be considered impossible. Even without breastfeeding it takes time for the hormones in your body to return to "not pregnant" levels so that you can ovulate. Women who do not breastfeed generally do not have a period for at least 6 weeks after birth and more likely 10 weeks - this means a usual first ovulation is around 8 weeks. If you doubt this info, just consider, it is extremely rare to hear of siblings born 9 months apart without the second one being premature.

If you think you have missed a period, it's more likely that you just haven't had your first one yet. It is normal for this to take 10 weeks or even more.

You are probably not pregnant. It is also not a good idea to become pregnant again straight away. My two children are 13 months apart and even that was closer than is healthy - my stomach muscles, back and pelvic joints suffered and the doctor said it is due to the babies being so close. Your body needs time to heal and so does your heart. Give yourself time to grieve and spend the time building up your health and taking folic acid so you are ready to create your angel's new brother or sister later on. My thoughts are with you.

  8. Yes you can. However, it's best to wait until your body has healed from the last pregnancy.

My wife got pregnant 8 weeks after delivering and the OBGYN said that was too early.

  9. accept my sympathy. yes it is very easy to get pregnant after birth. everything is open. However it is not advised because your body needs time to heal. it can take a whole year for your uterus to go back in place and for you to heal completely the inside.
