No, you don't need Burton binders for a Burton board.  You may need the baseplates though.  You could either contact Burton, or the binding makers for those though.  Or you could check out some shops for them.  You might get them for free, or they'll charge you a small fee.  I'd contact Burton or your binding makers first though.

However, if it's the ICS/EST system, that's a whole diifferent story.  EST bindings on a ICS board, but you can use non-EST bindings on it if you don't want to spend the money.  Just need to get the conversion plates.  (Defeats the purpose of buying the ICS board if you're not going to use the EST bindings with it.)  I'm not sure if there are, or whether or not the conversion plates are compatible with non-Burton bindings though.

EDIT:  It's not only the Uninc.  The Custom, X8, Jeremy, and Stria all are ICS boards.

  5. this question has been asked like a million times on here!  stfa!  (search the forum archives!) that's what they're there for....oh and also unless it's a burton uninc board..then u have to get uninc bindings....

  6. Any set of bindings will go on any deck(regardless of brand), with a few exceptions.

Burton EST bindings use a different system to attach the bindings to the board. Burton also makes a few boards that will only take EST bindings.  I just bought an X8 and it came with the discs for adapting my existing bindings.

This is some extra personal bias, but I love the cap strap on Burton bindings.  It really does improve handling, and takes the pressure off your toes.  I'm not sure if any other manufacturers have something like that, but they should!

  7. No.  The one exception being if you get an ICS board you'll need their EST bindings.

A simple search would have found the answer to that many times.
