  1. No, maybe from Mexico into the United States.  Trust me, pollution is not high on the lists of concerns for Mexico.

  2. juss if u r planning 2 sell them in mex

  3. Lola is right.

But if you are only passing tru and you are an american citizen with adress in the US with a car of any year, you can come as you please within certain milage into Mexico, if you go further you will need a permit that last 6 months, after that you have to return to the Mex-Us border to renew that permit.

And for the fellow that tells you that Mexico has no conserning about car gas emitions,  I ´suggest that he trys to pass the Verification emitions process with his car in cities like Guadalajara, Mexico city, Cuernavaca or Puebla. You need to have the California exahust standards plus you need to go to a special emitions test every year...and in Mexico city is every 6 months and if your car fails you will not be able to transit your car freely or else you will have a fine of 100 Usd + inpound and the cost of that inpound.....The mexican border is a complet different story...they really seem not to care about the air they breath.

  4. No what they meant is that you can only pass vehicles that are 1998 and older that you plan on registering in Mexico to keep out there.  Some people take vehicles and leave them out there for use when on vacation in Mexico.  You could come and go in which ever vehicle you would like as long as it's registered under your name or another person traveling with you.
