  1. disney is very strict on how cast members present themselves

  2. Not only is there a height requirement, there are also eye and skin color requirements and they pay attention to what your face looks like in general.  I am short (5'3") and tried for Alice since she basically the only short face character.  I didn't get it because my eyes are green and hers are blue!  Also, If you have tan skin (like if you are latina, asian, etc.) it might be even less likely because most of the princesses have very fair skin.  I personally don't think it is fair because it doesn't give the rest of us a chance!

You can always try to be a fuzzy! They are the characters in the costumes and there are less requirements!

[edit] NO, you can't lie on your application because it is an AUDITION.  They would be looking right at you and see that you are short!

  3. Well then c**p I'd be out lol.

    I'm only 4"8 .... so don't feel to bad.

  4. I think if you have the look the height can be worked around. As long as you are close to the height requirements and you have the look, you should be fine!

  5. I don't think u cud have a Disneyland in NY, if that's the case. The lawyers would shut it down!

Anyway, u can lie on your application.

  6. im thinkin not cuz im taller than jasmine and belle and im 5'5

  7. Im not sure but they might have requirements,

    5,7 is average.

A princess should be taller then most average people visiting :-(

But dont let this put your down, Ask them ! If you want to be go after it !

  8. Disney does implement restrictions and requirements that must be strictly obeyed.  There is a lot of research on this, I've just completed a project on Disney and their dress codes and came across the information you're looking for.  As a starting point, google "The Disney Look"  the results should include a 17 page employee handbook.  This information might have been stated in there.  Usually the princesses and princes at Disney are contracted actors and actresses.
