Is it true that you have to cook your own food at the Melting Pot restaurant?

We are going their this weekend and were wondering if the entrees are cooked already or if you have to cook them yourself

You cook them yourself, so have a basic knowledge of how long it takes for meat to be done in boiling oil etc. The raw food comes out on a plate and you use a skewer to put it in. basic fondue.

They provide a small , very hot, pot for you to dip you food in. Either simmering oil, for meats or veggies, simmering cheese, for breads, or hot chocolate for dessert.

That defeats the purpose of going out. People go out for dinner when they have had a long day at work and don't feel like cooking. Why drive all the way to a resturant to cook the food YOURSELF when you can do at home. One of the main reasons going to resturant is being catered to.
