  1. No. Your amachure has to do with your lips.

    My friend who plays trumpet says, often times the brass, if you get bumped, can damage your teeth (real danger of being smacked if you're in marching band).

    But no, teeth have nothing to do with it.


  2. Nope - teeth have nothing to do with playing the trumpet... It's all lips and cheeks -- If you have a tooth that sticks out at an angle in the front it might be harder for you to play but if you keep at it you'll grow a callous in your lip and you'll be fine.
