  1. You have to be joking right?  Once is an understatement!!! Almost every freaking day..

  2. i have, i don't know if that is true for everyone but it is highly possible

  3. Depending on where you live, most likely.

  4. More like twice a day!

  5. Twice... ugh... Try more times than you can count!  And now we live in a world where it's 'not as bad' (take that for what it's worth) so you may have long stretches between the times you experience it and when it does happen to you, you will be run over with the reality of, "I forgot! No matter what I do or where I go or what I accomplish, to many of Them  (non whites--especially the ones over 40) I will always just be a   n  i  g  g  e  r. "

It always breaks into my reality every few months, when I go into a Bath and Body Works and some white store worker asks my two white friends directly if they need help and ignores me... You don't want to believe what it is, but you KNOW what it's about.

  6. at least twice a day.

  7. Twice?

    Oh please.

  8. I doubt the people in Kenyan tribes are racist towards one another

  9. it depends on where you're from, and the kind of environment you live in

but there there are quite a few black people who see it and are the victims of it on a daily basis

  10. that number sounds too low!

  11. Yup, I think its true. At least if you live a normal life and you go places...places that are not just filled with your own kind. I face it all the time even if it is just something very small, it still wouldn't have happened if I wasn't black.

  12. It's not a matter of disagreeing or agreeing, it's the fact that it does happen. Whether it is subtle or obvious. It happened to me yesterday up in Frankfort, Ky, and the fact that I live in Kentucky raises the chances for me. People aren't as open-minded in reality as you would like to think, if it was like that, the media wouldn't have as much racial tensions to reflect on.

It happens several times. For those who don't think it won't happen to you, or who it hasn't happened to, it will.

  13. im not black and ive experienced several racial encounters in my life time. being black doesnt really have anything to do with it.

  14. Agree..BUT I believe EVERYONE NOT just blacks will encounter racism in their life.

  15. All of these people crying about there times of being made fun are really stretching what they mean by a racist comment.  On average I would say maybe twice sounds like it.

  16. more than twice but thats how it is ..people just can't get over that were are darker than them thats it ...

  17. WAY MORE THAN THAT!

  18. I wish it was only twice, lol!

@ zenith, usually when Black American use the term Black they are referring to other Black Americans.

  19. Too many times to count my friend, sometimes they even make me laugh, they are so pathetic. At least I have a life.

  20. everyone experiences racism! I am white and have experience it more then twice.
