Is it true that your Social Security (U.S) benefits be reduced when you obtain dual citizenship?

  1. That's not true.  My dad has dual citizenship and he is now of the age where he can (and does) collect Social Security.  I don't see why he shouldn't be able to collect the full benefits he is entitled to; the man paid into Social Security for over 40 years.
