Is it true that your baby's s*x depends on who came first?

I know it sounds like a bunch of hogwash, but my friend insists that whichever partner has an o****m first, then the baby is the opposite s*x. Like if the male comes first, you have a girl.

Is there anything at all that determines the baby's s*x, or is it all by some big fat chance?

No. I take it she was were either sleeping in class or absent that day, since it is taught in basic high school biology. The father's DNA and chromosomes found in his sperm that join with the mother's egg determine the s*x of the child.

The baby's s*x is determined by the male regardless of who came first. The woman has 2 X chromosomes, one of which she will give to the baby. The man has an X chromosome and a Y chromosome, one of which he will give to the baby. If he gives an X you have a girl. If he gives a Y you have a boy.
