I read somewhere that king of spades represents king david, king of clubs represents alexander the great, king of hearts represents charlemagne, and king of diamonds is julius caesar. you be the mythbuster

some of those guys were never kings but if its true, I wonder how they would of determined what suit fit what leader. Not a bad selection of leaders.
