  1. If you KNOW they are not royalty then YOU should KNOW the correct place to post this "celebrity" question is in the celebrity threads.Try posting this the Other/Politics & Government or Entertainment & Music/Celebrities! Even history is a better choice!

Oh,and by the way, all presidential families are free to borrow antiques and paintings fron the National Archives and museums. One of Jacqueline Kennedy's projects was a restoration of found antiques(in the White House basement and attic) and donated antiques-furniture,lamps and fixturesa and the like.

When are people going to start thinking about the correct categories that they should post in instead of clogging up the wrong threads?

  2. How would anyone in the royalty section know the answer to your hypothetical query. You want to post little bits of gossip...then try the New York Post and see what answers you get there

  3. During his Presidency,Bill wand Hillary would have arguments over Bill's  "flings" and they would throw whatever was in reach at each other. So many artifacts dating back to the presidency of George Washington had been destoyed.

When it was time to leave, the White House china  ordered by Mamie Eisenhower was taken along with several peices of living room furniture.

SOME of it was recovered, but I don't know if the china was.
